Let cool and you're done! Cut into pieces and enjoy! (In spite of what the pictures show, smorz treatz actually do taste pretty good. Spray your pan with non-stick cooking spray (important!) and then spread your Smorz mixture evenly in the pan. Once you've stirred the cereal a bit, add your bag of chocolate chips. Just go ahead and dump the whole box in, and start stirring pronto while your goo is still hot. Now you can turn off the stove and add your Smorz cereal. This is what the marshmallow goo looks like when it's ready for the next step. With this in mind, stick to a single serving if you're going to indulge your inner-child. However, it does have 26 grams of carbs, 13 grams of sugar and less than 1 gram of fiber. One cup has 130 calories, 2 grams of fat, 140 milligrams of sodium, and 2 grams of protein. Stir your marshmallows and melted butter around, and for pete's sake keep stirring so your marshmallow goo doesn't burn! Compared to other cereals, the nutrition content in Smorz isn't terrible. Once the butter is melted sufficiently, add the marshmallows. Stir it around so the whole bottom of the pot is coated.

Put the pot over a low flame and throw your butter-variant in. Also, a utensil of some sort to stir while you're cooking. You also need a pot, a pan to put the stuff in after it's all mixed (I use a 13x9 cake pan), and some non-stick cooking spray to put in the pan so your treatz don't stick. butter/margarine/"spread" (I've always used Country Crock because it's the cheapest stuff I can get) (1) 12oz bag chocolate chips of your choosing (I've used semi-sweet, dark chocolate, even peanut butter ones dark chocolate are my favorite). The inevitable result? Smorz cereal treatz!!! Having purchased several boxes of the cereal without so much as tasting the stuff, I knew I'd never consume it all the old-fashioned way. It had so much potential, but alas, it wasn't nearly as good as the s'mores cereal I remember eating as a child. When I first saw Smorz cereal in my grocer's cereal aisle, I couldn't believe my eyes.
